Spread Awareness & Help Fellow Servicemembers
This May, in recognition of Myositis Awareness Month, a new documentary exploring the devastating impact of Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) on veterans will be released by the team at Hill & Ponton. This rare, progressively debilitating muscle disorder, which lacks both a cure and effective treatments, has silently afflicted many of our nation's heroes. The documentary will premiere on major viewing platforms and be promoted through social media to reach a broad audience.
The documentary seeks to bring to light the struggles faced by veterans suffering from IBM. By sharing personal stories of their battles with this muscle-weakening disease, the documentary strives to raise public awareness and foster greater understanding. The powerful narratives of these veterans underscore the urgent need for IBM to be recognized as a service-connected condition, which would significantly improve the support and benefits available to affected individuals.
We invite viewers to join us in spreading awareness and pushing for the necessary changes to support our veterans. By understanding more about IBM, its significant impact on veterans' lives, and the ongoing advocacy for their rights, we can all contribute to a cause that extends far beyond the screen. Watch the documentary, share their stories, and take part in making a difference for our veterans who have already given so much.
